Time felt rapid and compressed for the past four months and I haven’t found (made) time to post here, but I am about to embark on a two-week excursion to visit Buckland family in Warwick, then Taylors in Cape Cod and Maine. I have about 150 minutes before I leave without anyone home to distract me, so I figure this is my chance to put something down here before it becomes five months…
I don’t take a lot of notes on my daily activities so I’m looking over my photos from the past four months to see what happened and it looks pretty fun! I see skiing with family at Bromley and Stowe (which also included a ditch-the-family day to enjoy 2 feet of beautiful fresh powder in some incredible backcountry!), skating in Propsect Park, golfing with kids at the range, rock climbing under the Manhattan Bridge, camping in Vermont and Warwick, a visit from Andrew and family for some awesome Brooklyn adventures with the cousins, several trips to Prospect Park and Central Park Zoos, Museums including Liberty Science Center, The Intrepid and The Met’s Instruments of Rock exhibition, soccer practice and Women’s World Cup watching, shows including Billy Joel at MSG, Pod Save America at Kings Theater, Hadestown on Broadway, Feed Me at Brooklyn Steel (courtesy of Sean, who almost died six weeks earlier from a massive brain tumor that had been growing since he was in utero, discovered when it completely blocked the cerebral fluid from draining and removed in one of the most astonishing demonstrations of modern medicine I have ever witnessed), Coney Island Cyclones baseball on Opening Day, a full Taylor family assemblage in Boston, several birthday parties and a Maine wedding… plus all the stuff in between!
And Music!
